All I can say is, when I tried last year from South America it wouldn't let me buy. It just came up with the local selling rules - possibly under . I had to buy from another vendor that seems to be able to circumnavigate the rules for some reason.

I just tried to buy from the US and got:

We are sorry...
We could not process your order. The sale of MP3 Downloads is currently available only to US customers located in the United States.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

This happens at the final stage.

No need to be charged twice. Just contact Amazon and they'll open up the validity of the .amz file for you again.

???? The MP3's are the files.

How do you get them on your MP3 player? We don't know what your MP3 player is so how do you get music onto it at the moment is a good place to start?

Hi again,

Sorry, I've been out of town. Have you manged to resolve where your mp3 has landed?

I suspect that the problem you have is with your 'Media player'. Whatever that actually is, it's not getting told to look where the downloaded files have been sent to. The Amazon tool and the Media player are seperate pieces of software, unlike iTunes which serves as both the store and the media player.

When the Amazon tool is first installed it asks where you want to download the mp3 files to. If this location somewhere that your media player isn't told you look at, it will seem that your download is missing - it isn't. It's like you telling the media player that all of your music collection is in the top draw of a cabinet and then you buy some new music and put it in the bottom draw.

I had the same issue but if you go to 'My Documents', then scroll down to Downloads 'click' on it and then open the .amz file - it does download and you can then see it in iTunes and play it.

Fully sympathise. I installed the current Amazon downloader, bought 4 songs, nowhere to be found, but orders have been charged! Not happy, iTunes is far easier to use.

Why not contact Amazon for support then???

The problem is most likely to be to do with your software - not Amazon. What exactly are you doing? When you buy the MP3, are you Opening the .amz file or just Saving it? You need to open it. It sounds like you have successfully used the Amazon tool before so I'm guessing you are opening it, in which case, what is happening? If Windows has lost it's .amz file association somehow, it will cause the Amazon downloader not to launch. If you don't know how to check this, let us know the operating system you are using.

Had the older version of the downloader. Bought a couple of albums and clicked on buy now. Went through payment but the downloader never kicked in to download my purchase. Thinking it's a problem with my older downloader, I installed the new one and downloaded another song and still nothing. Not happy at all as I had planned to use my downloads for a class tomorrow. Amazon has ruined my plans.
