In the States: Paid in Kindle Store (See Top 100 Paid in Kindle Store)
#61 in Kindle Store > Kindle eBooks > Nonfiction > Religion & Spirituality > Other Practices > Mysticism

My name is Katrina Rose, and I have changed the names and places to make this true haunting fiction.Ghost: Connects (Based on a true haunting & Possession)
The spirit who contacted me from the grave, is also the same woman found dead on the railroad tracks the Friday before Memorial Weekend in 1983, and she is kept alive until Memorial Day while the doctors wait for her parents to return from a trip. I did not find her, or maybe she found me when I dreamed of her in 2002 after buying the house she should have moved into. This weekend is the weekend to read Connects.Ghost: Connects (Based on a true haunting & Possession)

The novel presents a humorous version of the origin of the publishing industry and how an unsuspecting person was pressured into becoming a literary agent. Chapter 2 is important because of the advice regarding "How to Meet Women." Thanks for your time. Free 27 and 28 May. Slush Pile Inspector

Watch the shadows. Watch your back..

ROMANTIC THRILLER series suitable for 15 to 90. No forensic gore, just spine-tingling, cat-and-mouse-suspense with a dash of romance and a whisper of spectral to keep you on edge.
Intrigue and mystery curdle just under the surface at Springhill Estate, with its high-dollar show horses and well-heeled owners. Visit if you dare and mingle with the elite and working stiffs. One of them is a killer.
Which one?

SOMETHING MOST DEADLY , SOMETHING VERY GHOSTLY , and SOMETHING MOST EVIL . Clean, long-term romance

Diplomatic Tales - two Ebooks in one, exploring the diplomatic life first as memoir, then with a story colleciton that takes place within an embassy. Specially priced.

Free to borrow with Kindle Prime.

"Diplomatic Tales" contains two Ebooks, first published separately, a memoir and a short story collection.

''Sunsets In Singapore: A Foreign Service Memoir" tells the story of how American diplomacy works overseas. Career diplomat William S. Shepard gives the reader an insider's view of an American embassy. The reader learns what constitutes an embassy, what the responsibilities are for each section, and how they work together. The story reflects Shepard's actual diplomatic career, which also included service at our embassies in Singapore, Saigon, Budapest, and Athens, as well as five tours of duty in Washington at the Department of State.

This is a personal memoir of diplomatic service that spans a quarter century, ranging from administrative duties as General Services Officer in tropical Singapore, to political analysis behind the Iron Curtain in Budapest. It has been praised by persons taking the formidable Foreign Service Examination as a helpful practical guide to the challenges facing career officers, and how they are solved. From personal security to representation, the career skills needed for modern diplomacy emerge here. So do the experiences facing diplomatic families, as they move around the globe, gathering experiences for memories that will last a lifetime.

In "Embassy Tales: Stories of the Foreign Service," we explore through fiction every part of an American Embassy, from the glamorous Ambassadorial suite to the Consular office, where fledgling diplomats on the visa line face their own challenges - and meet more local citizens than most political officers! As the reader gains familiarity with how an Embassy comes together, there will be no surprise to find also jealousy, love lost and gained, perhaps a murder or two - they happen in the best of families - and even occasional hauntings may be expected.

My thriller The Crew continues to hold onto the #1 free sports download slot after 18 straight months. It was also the most downloaded sports title of 2012 although it's not technically about the sport!

And if you have read and enjoyed it, the sequel Top Dog is also available and is about to make the leap to the big screen.

Hunted and the Damned - only 96p this weekend

A British spy's disappearance in Berlin at the height of the Cold War has never been fully explained. When a retired British Secret Intelligence Service officer is brutally murdered in Berlin, the two events are dismissed as unconnected, simply a coincidence.

"Having read all three of R.J.Dillon's books in chronological order I must write my first ever book review(s).
They were all well written, in a style reminicient of John Le Carre and Len Dieghton.
I believe Mr Dillon writes from a position of knowledge about our governements more secretive security departments.
The booke were thoroughly entertaining, and I felt robbed every time I have had to put down my Kindle for more mundane chore
This is a sign of a very good book to me.
I hope the Mr Dillon can soon follow these superb thrillers with much more, and very soon.
I cannot recomend them enough". (Amazon 5 star review 21/6/12

DO YOU LIKE SUSPENSE/THRILLERS WITH A HAUNTING INGREDIENT OF HORROR THROWN IN? THE BAD LADY IS A TALE THAT WILL SHOCK, ENTERTAIN, AND STAY WITH YOU LONG AFTER YOU READ THE FINAL PAGE.

"Did she show you naked pictures of herself?"

I nodded.

"Does that mean she did?"

"Yes."

"And after that, did Miss Sutcliffe proceed to take off her shirt and coax you into touching her boobs?"

Nancy seemed to snarl. "C'mon Billy," she says. "You know I only hugged you. Please honey! You can't go around telling people lies. You and I are supposed to be friends, don't you remember?"

Just to let you know, A Gathered Radiance is free to download all this weekend. Here's a review by Bill Todd:

Rock stardom has not brought happiness to Kelly Matthews. She is abused and exploited by husband nasty Nigel and tormented by horrific dreams of a wartime massacre in Nazi-occupied France.
When Nigel's scheming greed drives her into hiding, Kelly goes to stay with brother Paul and his friends who are renovating a historic farmhouse in the Haute Savoie.
The visit unlocks a secret past and places Kelly in danger now and through her recurring dream.
The story moves through a surprisingly wide range of characters, situations and themes. Yet in her first fiction book, author Joyce Weaver lives up to her name successfully by intertwining such diverse subjects as regression and troubled spirits, wartime hardship and atrocity, the shallowness of fame and the courage and compassion sparked between people in shared adversity. It makes for an unusual and enjoyable read.

A glorious sunny day in London, and just right for celebrating. So my book, The Art of Killing is free today in honour of two very special ladies. Firstly, many congratulations to the Queen on the 60th anniversary of her coronation; and secondly, and much nearer to home, a very happy birthday to my mother, who is 86 today. My mother is still an avid reader, and my book is dedicated to her to thank her for her support over so many years now.

Wishing everyone a happy and peaceful Sunday.
