My book was just published on Kindle, January 31, 2012. Pahpay's paw squad has lots of love, humor, and fantasy. Take a look under children's books. Enjoy.

Our books: The Boogedyman and Peter and the Pumpkin Patch are books for both boys and girls from 5th grade and up. Both books are in middle school and high school libraries. We are set up with school tours. We also have several lines of younger children's picture books that will be releasing within the year. I am also a Teacher if that helps. Both books are in Amazon.

If it's for the younger child between 5-7 yrs of age, try 'Bertle B Bug and the Case of the Missing Space Slugs' by Stuart Garratt.

I write for 8-13 yr olds. I write stand-alone, fast-paced, humorous fantasies. My fourth book has just been published -"Just Imagine". My previous three books are "Rewind", "The Cube" and "Dear Mr Author", for which I won an award. My books are particularly popular with boys.

I. Black says:
TODAY ONLY Noontide Owls IS ON SALE FOR £0.98. It is my first novel for older children as well as adults (though not my first novel)

On Monday it will go back to its usual price of £1.53.

Noontide Owls:

Maara, the girl with three blessings, stares in disbelief out of the window of her uncle's cottage down by the harbour. The terrible army from the Land Beyond is marching out of their lives after one hundred years of cruel occupation.

Thus begins the story of Ambamar and its inhabitants: iron-mining Anvil People, gigantic, agricultural Timekeepers, mysterious, scholarly Scribes and Mariners - the fisher folk. Their histories were written long ago in secret papers, and in a magical speaking book that Elin and Arolan, the two trumpeters who herald the promise of a new dawn, carry down from the Iron Mountain, where it had lain hidden for a century. It is imperative for the people to learn these fantastical tales that bind them, for along with freedom, are hatching the serpents of hatred and distrust.

Elin and Arolan's attempts to bring peace, bring them instead to the brink of disaster. It is left to Maara and her band of like-minded citizens to try and save them and to stop the ruin of Ambamar. Their task is fraught with danger, as they encounter destructive nature spirits, heroes and villains, raging seas, desert sands, dark forests and magical creatures.

Noontide Owls is a tale for all ages from 9 to 109.

Complete with pen and ink drawings.

See also my `India' novels: The Moon's Complexion and Darshan: a Journey

All my books are also available as paperbacks

I'm a new author and I also have a children's kindle fiction book I wrote for my 10 year old niece. It's a good, clean and fun adventure that I've happily received some nice reviews and feedback on so far.

Jackie and the Magic Dandelion

The book's blurb:

Jackie's old life ends and her new adventure begins when an ill conceived wish to be as tiny as an ant sends her spiraling through the stars and into an amazing world she never expects.

She spends the next week riding dragonflies high in the air, sailing homemade boats past hungry goldfish and giant frogs, fighting battles to save underground ant cities, climbing tall trees on the backs of huge wooly caterpillars and searching for deadly black widow spiders, all in her quest to find the "magic" she needs to get back home.

Things turn nasty when Stinger, a deadly wasp, and his minions show up and cause trouble for everyone. Jackie must team up with her new friends, Drago the dragonfly, Anton the ant and her reluctant hero, The Mantis, if she is going to stop Stinger from taking over the park and if she hopes to to have any chance of ever making it back home again.
