A high-traffic site is looking for new titles to feature in the indie section of its Book page. http://www.multi-story.co.uk/books.html

The difficulty is in finding books which are well written and have been properly copy-edited. We can't recommend books full of typos and grammatical errors.

Suggestions in any genre are very welcome.

'Hailstones in May
Hailstones in May' by Laurie Maitland. Highly polished, well edited novel, not to mention a great read!

Snowbound on the Island (Contemporary Romance) has been properly edited. I'm a professional author and this is the first book I have self-published.

Silent Bombs Falling on Green Grass
Is an incredible read - a book of short stories so cleverly intertwined and incredibly well written. Highly recommended!

The Hunt for Solace is my own novel, fairly new to Kindle and I'd appreciate all the help I can get getting it noticed. All I really want is readers, it's not an expensive book. Anyway, give it a look;

The Hunt for Solace (The Shattered Worlds Trilogy Book 1)

I second the recommendations for Richard Wilde, In the Blood (A Genealogical Crime Mystery) Featured in 'Best Books of 2011' and Tollesbury Time Forever.

I've also just read an excellent book which I think is self published - Ripple - A Dolphin Love Story

Also, Lexi Revellian is a very good indie writer - both Remix and Replica are worth mentioning.

Others that I have enjoyed recently are
The Baby Trap
Excuse me, where is the exit?

There are many excellent indie writers, and as for the comment about poorly edited and full of typos - I find that is the case more often with traditional publishers than I do indies, who take extra care with their books.

Thanks for the new suggestions. They are all going on the list.

@Kew. Sadly I have to disagree. We have already ruled out over fifty indie ebooks because of the poor level of editing. Punctuating dialogue seems to be a major problem. I agree errors also occur in commercially published books but not at the rate of a dozen per page which is often my experience with indie novels.

P.S. I don't think it's a lack of care, just a lack of knowledge.
