Hello.

Has anybody any experience of decorative outdoor lighting? It is for a special party in May and we are trying to keep costs down. What I am looking for are either fairy lights to hang from the trees, but we would need quite long lengths, or solar powered spot lights to highlight the trees, NOT motion sensitive ones. Any useful tips on this subject is much appreciated.

Thank you for your help.

Although this is a bit late (two years +) but yes fairy lights are now readily available (e.g. http://www.mygreenlighting.co.uk/outdoor_lights/party_chain_lights.html) and you could light trees using battery powered flood lights (e.g. http://www.mygreenlighting.co.uk/work_lights_torches/work_inspection_lights.html)
