Hello all,

I'm trying to find out what Amazon UK's policy is on laptop returns. From what I can gather it seems to be different to Amazon.com's, where you can return an opened laptop within 30 days, though there's a 15% restocking charge/postage costs etc. On the Amazon UK site it sounds like you can only return laptops if they're unopened, unless there's a fault. Have I got that right?

Thanks in advance for any help.

PC World will not accept the return of a laptop within the normal legal 7 day period if software has been added e.g norton software at the time of purchase. I don't consider that such a policy meets either the spirit or the intent of the trading standards guidance
. What do other people think?
