Get an iPad cellular and a Pay As You Go iPad sim from O2.

If you are not after a lot of data, check out Ovivo Mobile: 500GB a month allowance. Additional usage comes off your PAYG credit.

And that's for just 10 up front for a SIM. Unused credit rolls over.

As the only unvirus-able tablet, and the only tablet on which you can guarantee that everything in their App Store actually WORKS on your machine, I would suggest an iPad and a pay as you go SIM card.

I am no apple fan -I'm an i.t. Technician who spends his days fixing laptops and pc's -including dragging viruses out of people's kit. But Apple really do have the best tablet on the market for all the reasons I have just given. An iPad, not jail broken, is about as secure a device as you can get at the moment....android is open source and open source = viruses. Don't listen to me, google Android Viruses and see for yourself.

Now that's just silly, 65% of the worlds websites run off the open source web server 'Apache'.
Windows (closed source) had more viruses than any other operating system ever.

buy a cheap 9.7" tablet from bay, then get a pay as you go dongle most tablets running ICS are dongle/3G compatible, you can look around get a decent tablet and dongle all for under 100.00.been doing this for a while.why pay stupid prices for the same set up.

Look at Apple's refurbished products. I picked up a 3G enabled 3rd Gen iPad for 80 less than retail price. I have got an O2 sim at 10 pm for 1GB data and there's no contract. Refurbished in Apple speak means that it has been returned previously and sold in as-new condition. Some Apple users swear they're better than normal retail devices as they have been through extra Quality Control
