I watched the film of this last night and was really impressed. Its quite amazing how grubby and judgmental the world seemed in it, yet the script had the looming energy of the 60s zapping through it. fantastic stuff, i love old b&w films from this time.
Anyone got any favourites from this period ?

:o)

malcolm McDowell was in lots of films in the 70's wonder what happened to him. So many good films then. I lived in Gibraltar early 70's and got to see Clockwork Orange at the cinema before it was banned.

The woman is being raped but the man is being beaten and kicked to the tune.
After the treatment he returns to the house and he's in the bath and the bloke remembers the tune as he is singing it in the bath...something like that...memory jog!

Brian it was one of those talked about films in the 70's because it was so far out there! Violent and weird..on the other hand you had "Enter the Dragon" Really funny leaving the pictures seeing all these spanish lads trying to be Bruce Lee!
