Hi,

Hope you're all well.

My Partner and I both have Kindle's and Kindle accounts, I have downloaded 3 books to his Kindle by accident (which isn't a problem) but I would like to transfer them to my Kindle as I would like to re-read them. Is this possible?

Thanks

Denis Powell says:
If both Kindles are registered to the same account you'll find the title in the archive of your Kindle. If they're registered to different accounts you could try contacting Customer Services to see if they can transfer them to your account.

They're not registered to the same account we both have different accounts. I have just spoken to Customer Services and apparently they are unable to transfer so have refunded the money to my partners account and I can then purchase them on my kindle.

If you don't want to read it again simply delete it. Should you change your mind later it will be listed in the archive. Click on that and it will download again.

Another solution is to create collections for your read and and unread books.

Ive made folders for each catagory i.e.thriller, history, horror etc. Also have a folder for finished books and one for books I want to read. Its easier and then I can dip into a particular theme without trawling through the list.

Make a collection: on the home screen, right click on the book and add to collection.
Then, list / sort the books by the collections: go to the top right of the screen.

Collections of "Read Books" and "Read Books I want to read again" are a good start!
