Hi
Has anyone bought any of the Harry Potter books from Pottermore.
I was just wondering how you get them onto the kindle when bought from this site.

I have them ... all the instructions are there when you purchase. It's all very easy!

I'm reading Chamber of Secrets at the moment ...

Another question re this subject. Once the books are linked to amazon and youve read and deleted them, do they stay in archives even after you've read them or do they delete from device permanantly like other books not bought of amazon?

Gonna buy these myself -eventually

Denis Powell says:
They remain in your Amazon Archive and also on the Pottermore Site. Pottermore only allows a certain number of downloads from there but you have the same access to your Amazon copies as you have with any others.

Denis Powell says:
Dee, I have more books (e & paper) than I can possibly read in the time left to me but I still can't resist buying more ;-) My problem is that people fascinate me, real and fictional, so all a synopsis has to do to get me to buy a book is to have a character or relationship I want to know more about. Consequently I find myself reading everything from Science Fiction to Biographies, from Romance to Horror and Comedy to Fantasy, but Harry Potter only kept me interested for the first two books. The Third one I didn't finish and the rest have never been started.

Oh Denis .... you misssed out on so much in the Harry Potter Series by not reading on. The depth of character and story development and the links throughout the series is phenomenal! I recommend giving them another go and sticking with them!

Denis Powell says:
Diane, when you bought it did you go through the Amazon site? If not, which format did you download?

The book should appear in Manage Your Kindle.

Just bought the two Comic Relief Hogwarts Library Books from Pottermore - Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Quidditch Through The Ages!
Can't wait for JK to release Tales of Beedle the Bard on Pottermore then I'll have the full set!

My husband I queued in the rain for 5 hours to see ET at the cinema. Parents did the same taking children to see Harry Potter films.

Wonder what movies will be made when the childless or new parent posters on here have to endure inconvenience for their children - and they will.

It's always so nice to hear someone laughing happily, instead of fighting or trying to bite someone else's head off... :)

Rachel says:
I have bought all the books from Pottermore, they work very well on the Kindle. Once you have bought the books they will end up in the 'My Books' section of the website. From here you will have a download section where you will be able to choose which device you would like to download them to. Click on the button to transfer them through to your Kindle account. Then it is the normal download style.
Hope this helps
