Backup large personal docs to kindle cloud

I have a Kindle Fire HD and I've transferred some large PDFs to the fire. They are essentially books of images so:
a) PDF is the best format, they don't have any text to flow
b) they are large, around 40MB on average.

The question is, how can I get these backed up into my personal docs in the Kindle Cloud? I can't email them because there is a 25MB limit on gmail. Is there no other way to simply sync personal documents from a Fire to the Cloud?

Getting them onto the Fire is easy of course and I've done that, just plugging it in and dragging the files across. But how can I then get them into my google cloud, so I can, for example, see them in the Kindle app on my iPad (in the cloud of course) and then download one if I want to 'read' it on the iPad.

Help appreciated!

You could take a look at the Send To Kindle application, which may meet your needs.

Thanks, I'll check Send To Kindle out.

I think Send-to-Kindle (or maybe the Cloud itsef) has a limit of 65MB per document, but otherwise you should be Ok.

sounds like my docs will just fit in the limit. I've got about 24 ranging from 20MB to about 45 or 50MB. I'll post back when I've done it but it sounds like just the ticket.

Thanks again for your help, I've tried Send to Kindle and that worked fine, although after sending the documents to my Fire HD using the tool the docs were indeed showing as in the cloud available for download on the Kindle app on my iPad, which is what I wanted, but somewhat bizarrely the docs *aren't* showing up on my list of personal documents on my 'manage your kindle' pages of my amazon logon on the website. Which is strange....

I was going to say perhaps you didn't tick the "Archive document in your Kindle library" when sending, but then it presumably wouldn't have appeared in the cloud for your iPad either - so I'm likewise baffled! Perhaps it takes a while for them to show up in the MYK interface, otherwise maybe Amazon CS can help...

Yeah, it was just a time lag. They've now shown up on the website in my list of personal documents. Worth noting that it took a whole day after they were showing up on the cloud for downloading to a device before they showed up on the website!
