New to audio books,why is the book

I think that's done purely because of the file size. In the US Kindle owners can download Audible Audio Books direct to their Keyboard or Touch Kindles and a single file could be a problem.

I only keep two audio books on any device. The one I'm listening to and the one I'm going to listen to next so, yes, if I'm going to listen to it I'll download both parts.
