Hippocratia says:
I am not sure what he is like as a stand up - I have a feeling that he is not bad, but I don't know what I am basing that on.

I have a DVD of him doing stand-up. He isn't my favourite but he did make me laugh.

<sigh> Reheated portuguese chicken and a soggy dressed salad bought on Thursday from Diego's in Southampton. Nicer than it probably sounds, but may now have to go out and get more wine.

Father Ted was ace, that scene where he is trying to explain to Dougal why cows are smaller when they are far away is a classic. I still watch the reruns but with a sense of sadness that Ted is dead.

I liked the one where that well known comedian ( so well known I can't remember his name but now has own chatshow!) was Irish dancing in the caravan and it fell over. Just little things like that make me roar with laughter.
