Linda says:
lettuce an sugar I have never tried but have had sugar on bread and butter. My kids loved to put red sauce on their potatoes and ask me to mash it all up for them. I always had to look the other way as I was doing it as it made me feel sick.

Oh yeah we had that all the time - just called it bread and dripping - my mam made her own bread , and made the dripping too , out of the Sunday joint. My mam is a big home baker -it was a novelty for me to get any food out of a shop.

I don't like brown sauce but could live with it. Salad cream on the other hand yeughh. There seems to be a rite of passage in my family where all boys at the age of about 7 live on salad cream sandwiches. Uncles, brothers, cousins and now my nephews have all done it. My friend hates red sauce so when her daughter wanted potatoes mashed with it she gave her mashed sweet potato and the child never knew the difference.

Curry sauce definitely, yum!
Oh and preferably the fish should come from a little chip shop in Beaumaris that does the nicest fish and chips I've ever had.

If you've never been hurt you can't properly appreciate the wonderful times I feel.

Tartare sauce, strong pickled onion, fried mars bar for dessert.
