To get rid of the lego piece with the question mark you need to choose 'flash player for ICS'

"Firstly swipe down from the top of the Home screen, Tap More, Device, Allow installation of Applications from unknown sources. Browse to goodereader.com, tap on "APP Store", tap on the "The Good eReader App Store" button on the right hand side, then the orange "Download" button on the left, and the .apk file should download. Home Screen, swipe down and watch the download process. When it's complete tap it and install the app. When that's done open the goodereader store app and search for Dolphin HD, download and install that, then search on the goodereader store again for Flash and download and install that too."

Denis Powell says:
When 8 enter "dolphin" in the goodereader app store search, the Dolphin HD Browser is at the top of the list so I have no idea why you're not seeing it.

Thank you Denis this worked first time. Your instructions are very clear. :) I'm intrigued where did you find out how to do this?

Denis Powell says:
Someone mentioned getting Dolphin from the goodereader.com appstore in a thread and checked it out. I've learned a lot from the UK and US Forums.

I actually don't make much use of Dolphin. I'm not a great TV watcher and I have BBC iPlayer, 4OD and Demand 5 on my Bluray player so on the rare occasions I want "Catch-Up" TV I prefer to watch it on my TV, but I sometimes watch the BBC News Channel on my Fire if I'm awake early.

My apologies Denis for taking so long to reply. I will keep a much closer eye on both the US & UK forums. Seriously you should be getting commission from Amazon.

you need flash player 'ics' for it to work. you can get this from the ereader app and it will replace any previous flashplayer.

Thanks to all - it took me about 2 weeks in total but by following the guidance above I have managed to get this to work! My aim was to watch german tv on my kindle fire (old version, £99 - worth a try!). My tips are 1. perseverance - this stuff doesn't always work first time, and 2. you have to follow the instructions exactly - there are lots of ways you can go wrong, especially on the goodereader website where there are several things that look like the right place to click - but when i followed the instructions exactly and went to the far right of the page - it really worked!!!

When I go to the goodreader website at the top it says "this page is currently offline. However because the site uses cloudflare's always online technology you can continue to surf a snapshot of the site. We will keep checking in the background and as soon as the site comes back you will automatically be served the live version.
Has anybody else had this problem or am I just it just a temporary problem that I've been unlucky enough to encounter? I'm hoping that the website starts to work and I can follow your instructions so that I can watch ITV player and 4od.

My hubby brought me a kindle fire hd for Christmas in the uk. I wanted done thing to use for my studying and completing practical assessments online.
Problem is once I open the web page it tells me to download adobe flash player!

I've read all the info on this tread and keep getting stick at first hurdle.
Without sounding completely stupid I can't seem to find good reader.com I've tried looking on anazon apps and it brings back no results I've tried google play and get the sane message another member mentioned and I've tried just a google search which takes me good reader.com where it tells me to download from iTunes App Store??? Surely that's not right? From reading this tread I understand that in meant to download goodreader, then download dolphin hd then a flash??? I can't seem to find any of this! Do any of you have the link or web addresses? I would massively appreciate any help before I throw kindle out the window!

From the website install the app store on your Fire.

Georgina, I'm pleased to have been of help. I'm not sure of the wisdom of confessing to being an Emmerdale fan though ;-)

"Justice for Alex" I say. ;-)

This is for denise powell! Thank you so much kind sir! It diddnt help that I was searching for good reader.com instead of goodereader.com! Anyway I've manage to download goodereader.com app and from that I downloaded dolphin hd and then adobe flash 11! But when I go onto the accountancy website I want it just shows me a little blue box?? Another silly question but should I be trying to view website thro dolphin or thro the adobe flash?? Thanks again for all your help you truly have been a Christmas angel to us all on here and have certainly saved lots if tears xx

OK I've encountered another problem and I'm hoping someone can help.
I've downloaded Dolphin HD and Flash Player which are working fine. I can watch 4od and all other videos. The problem is when I go onto the ITV website to watch Emmerdale I can watch the clips but when I try and watch past episodes I am always directed to the ITV player app from Google Play which is not compatible with my kindle. I have tried getting to the episodes in an alternative way but in order to watch the full episodes I always end up back at the Google Play appstore. I am very frustrated as I am able to watch all of the clips but no full episodes and I have missed all the Christmas episodes! Any ideas please?

Miss G.L. Nickels... I did the same thing, kept going to ' goodreader' instead of ' goodereader' lol. In response to your problem. When you download Flash Player, download the one that says ' Flash ICS' and that should solve the problem of the lego brick thingy (I only know this from being told on here or another similar thread.
