Excuse my slowness to reply, have been busy watching stuff on my prime movies trial - won't be able to continue it though at £79 quid - Amazon made a big mistake in not leaving it at £47 , which just might have tempted me. It was a shame you lost that cash, I'd like to see all the sights , must be amazing?

Thanks to the merging of Amazon & Lovefilm, i have lost all the reviews i had made through my Lovefilm account, of all the films i had rented.

Was brill, the casinos not really my thing but Grand Canyon amazing, unreal. I think they made a wrong move there, I have the free trail every now and then, but always find I wouldn't use it enough get my moneys worth, there's plenty of free delivery items anyway. I definitely wouldn't pay 80 quid for the privilege, and don't really watch films so wouldn't get my use out of it that way.

Brian says:
Yes, I agree, a wrong move as you say, honey. When they added videos in the US the cost didn't go up. I'd like to see the Grand Canyon and other tourist spots too, it must have been great.

Well..my good mood has been spoilt - such a nice shiny day and i woke up all happy and got to work all happy. Now i've been told i've got to train two newbies on something. I know this probably sounds out of order - but I really hate training people! I know its supposed to look good to me to be training people but I just don'nt like training people. I hate it. I feel like I'm a model being put on display in a sense. I hate it. Probably does not make a lot of sense but hey. I hate training.

Typo Stan says:
I know just what you mean, Dee!
You show them how to do it, and a few weeks later they're telling you ...
as your new boss!

Had a lot of that. Glad I'm retired, frankly!

eric rambler says:
It's how they treat your training as a bit of a joke and an easy day, knowing they can blame you when they haven't learnt much.

few words says:
Reality TV shows especially celebrity ones.

I dont want to watch pretentious so called celebrities going about their so called normal life and getting paid for doing so.

Isabella says:
Tv documentaries that repeat every fact (that is, tell you everything twice) and then say it again, just to be sure and then just do a quick recap, then remind you, in case you might have forgotten what it was they said two minutes ago because the programme makers think that we all have the attention span of a teenager, sorry, I mean goldfish. And it's all with loud music and silly illustrations. And they seem to be able to persuade intelligent and accomplished people to behave like children when talking to the audience.
There, I feel better for that :)
Edit for typo

I thought we were a nation of "whinging poms"?, there seems to be a distinct lack of whinging going on around here.

Isabella says:
Dear Miss Annie, this works for me, so I offer it in the spirit of 'maybe, for you, too'. When you have a little time, write out in longhand any bad things, however few, about your friend and your relationship, including his suicide. Read them over slowly and then burn or shred the list. Then write out all the good things and read this over. Put it in a safe, convenient place and whenever it all gets too much, bring out the list and read it again. Apart from this, just give it time. Only the things that don't matter can be quickly forgotten.

few words says:
Anne I am sorry for your loss and there is no answer to your question.

One thing is talk to him and dont stop yourself from talking about him especially when with friends. If something happens to you and you would normally share it with him then do so.
His physical presence may be gone but the effect he had on you and your life is not.

Oh and as its the moaning thread I dislike the no voters.

In reply to an earlier post on 6 Mar 2014 17:25:52 GMT
Few words

Just watch those "no" votes go up, now you have mentioned your dislike of the neggars.
