Can you not just buy and read book 1 of the series to try it. The sale is on until the 12th April so you could have time to make up your mind about them in that time. I ended up doing something similar in the Christmas sale.

That's what I did during the Christmas sale, Suze. In fact, there were a few series which potentially interested me, resulting in a mad reading frenzy in order to get through all of the first books in time to buy the rest if I liked them!
