Suze says:
The kindles has been one of easiest electronic devices I have ever had to register. Sounds like a bit of ingratitude to me, I'm afraid.

Mr.Clarke you have a point..It took over an hour of attempts to register my Kindle 4..It wouldn't accept my 10 digit wireless code for that amount of time..Then when i was about to throw it out the window it finally worked..I even tried to register on-line but it wasn't happning..Maybe it's because i didn't buy mine directly from Amazon..Although i also agree with Suze..As an E-Book reader it is one of the simplest electronic devices to operate..I've had watches that were more complicated..I have found that if you give it time to charge and you take it one book at a time it's a breeze to use. Now if only Meses would hurry up with that rocket ship and get mine back from Metrosexual Gnome's Long lost Spaceship Trooper aunt.

Hippocratia says:
Try doing a restart; press the power button for 20-30 seconds and then wait for the kindle to reboot itself. That should unfreeze it.

I found my Kindle very delicate. I laid it on the dashboard of my car, it got trapped by a steering wheel spoke and cracked the screen the switch and the motherboard - finished. 111 own the drain - Chas
