They were all the rage, I hated them! Strange how the girls always get into things more than boys. My son has always been so laid back. Football mad, and as long as he could watch his beloved Arsenal matches, he was happy. He's still the same now, so easy going :)

In many ways, I'm glad my kids missed the techno age when growing up. It forced us all to speak to each other! They never played in bedroom either, always piled on top of each other on the couch watching Willy Wonka for the zillionth time...singing along, and our delight when Charlie found the Golden Ticket never dulled ;-0

Yes, I agree, lads are, but have to admit, my daughter was easy going too. Never had girly tantrums, left those to me ;-0

I'm glad too, we did family things together and are all still so close. They sometimes played upstairs if friends came over but never alone, all their toys were downstairs. I hated it when they started wanting their own space, but you can't keep them young and they have to grow up at some stage.

I didn't have the tantrums, but the teenage years were a BIG challenge!! I still think sometimes how I survived them! They do pass though, thank goodness :)

Sadly Ed got impregnated by the marmite alien.
As it grows, he ebbs away, growing only in yeastiness.

I know I've acted like a bit of a tit on the forum, but I will say that although Tim is responsible for some outrageous and indefensible insults, he has often made me laugh and never appeared to me, to show any real malice in his posts.

I have seen others who appear to really wish to upset people, and they don't necessarily use bad language, although some do, and they appear to get support from apparently respectable forum users.

Have you ever thought of acting....I imagine you playing the part of an older Ian Huntley or a younger Ian Bradey??

Leave then if you don't like it. It's not like you'll be much missed. I ignore most of your posts but responded to this one as you seem to not like it on here so I thought I would help you by pointing out the fact that you can leave. Just stop posting, easy peasy. But if you are going to post, i think that doesn't say much about the quality of your life. and if you post do do you think you could try to make it through one twenty four hour period without being rude to someone? I bet you can't.

Michelle says:
No malice? D you wear glasses and if so do you get them from the rose coloured spectacle shop? I thought better than you Eric, there is very little that he doesn't say that isn't offensive to someone.

I'm entirely convinced that others view it differently, and I respect your opinion Michelle, I can only say what I have perceived since I began reading the posts here about 6 months ago.

Ivan I think it's only fair that I have asked ZON to look into you're posts about accusing me of being a paedophile..I have given them times and dates that they asked for...In my view these posts are totally unacceptable.
