YAYYY!!! Tonight I am feeling GOOD!!! ;o>

Why? - well it's rather ironic really!...Just over three years ago now, I was rushed into A&E screaming with pain with a suspected dislocation and ligament damage to my knee - only to be told the almost unbelievable news that I was actually in the end-stage of Severe OsteoArthritis and it wasn't just isolated to my right knee but throughout almost every major joint in my body. I didn't know it then (thank goodness for small mercies) but it was also the very last day that I was to manage to walk even a few steps without always needing elbow crutches or using a wheelchair - overnight my world, and my life as I knew it then, just simply fell apart. Ohhh, how I would have longed to have been told that I had only broken my leg instead.

So why am I in a party mood?!!...Well, today I was taken in to A&E with a suspected wrist fracture after a fall and was told the fantastic news that I only had the OA! and that there was no break at all to be seen on any of my X-Rays!!! WHAYHAYYY!!! - I never thought that I could ever be SO very grateful to hear that!!! HA HA HA!!! And so tonight I shall be celebrating big-time and counting yet another blessing to add to the list ;o>

Very best wishes to you all from an ever-so-slightly tipsy, suzy...x

Forgotten the name of the club.
They are playing the Beatles,Oasis, the Clash as well as kings of Leon and other stuff.
Their group is a tribute band to kings of Leon.
They looked well smart going out tonight.Dead proud.

Thursday again, and I'm Thankful for:
Getting the wall built at the front - now I have a bit more usable garden.
A few steps nearer to getting a woodburner - tho it'll prob be December before it's up and running.
Three lovely cats.
Friends.
Music and songs.
A new microwave (after the exploding fish pie disaster).
Roses still in bloom.

What happened to the Fish Pie,

I once put a plastic jug with some water in the microwave to warm - the kettle was broken. I must have allowed for too much time and smelt something odd. The jug was empty and stuck to the glass plate. I left it in hot water in the bath as the plate was too large to lie in the sink. I sort of got the jug loose with a blunt knife. I suppose I should be glad the jug did not melt. At least the glass plate was ok.

When I bought the microwave my H said it was too big. It was wonderfully large in height inside. When I filled in the guarantee card it said HOW MANY MEALS A DAY DO YOU COOK 100, 300, 500. MMmmmmmmmmmmmmm. It was still a good microwave and lasted for years. A Sharp.

It was just a kid's pie where you pierce the plastic on top. The plastic came away from the carton and very hot fish hit the ceiling (of the microwave) and burned holes in the inside coating. Would have been difficult to clean properly and possibly unsafe re microwaves and it was quite old and cheap. So I decided it was best to get another.

Thankful Thursday...
for my gage trees and the front garden coming together,
my lovely purple tiles - edging forward, inch by inch, towards getting my woodburner,
three happy cats,
writing songs,
books,
Tudor Monastery Farm - brilliant TV series recreating the past,
fish 'n' chips (which I'll prob have tomorrow :) ).
