I have a kindle keyboard and it is in a "booklet" type cover.
Occasionally my kindle has frozen so I have restarted it out of curiosity I checked the indexing and there were no books indexing.
(I check the indexing every so often, I don't know why I think just because I can)
On Friday my Kindle started acting strangely all of a sudden it crashed, shut itself down and restarted, after restarting it was very slow etc, when I checked the indexing, there were books indexing
The three questions I am asking really are these:
1) When restarting the kindle yourself do the files need to be indexed?
2) If the kindle crashes why does this require the books being indexed if they don't need it when restart manually?
3) Can anyone give me an idea why the kindle would crash itself and why would having a cover cause any problems?
