How do you delete clippings ?

Can anyone tell me please.

You just touch the 'My Clippings' listed on your home screen for a little while, and the menu should come up with an option to delete.

Ok - that got me a bit further than I have managed to get before - but it would appear that this will delete the WHOLE folder - and not just some of the items in it.
Any more advice please ?

If you connect to your PC you,ll see that My Clippings is a text file which you can edit. Your notes, etc. Are ALSO stored in the metadata for the book - these only go when you delete the note or whatever in the book. You can happily do anything with My Clippings including copying it if you have anything worth saving. As has been said, if deleted the file is regenerated when needed.
