Just had breakfast on the patio.
Coffee and yummy coconut icecream I made last night softened in the early sun, new recipe and I was dying to see what it tasted like!

Morning everybody. I had a sleep in until 8 o'clock, must be catching up on the sleep I lost the night before because of the heat. Ice cream for breakfast sounds bad enough, but curry. No thanks, I can't think of anything worse. I'm doing as little as possible today, and am planning on spending most of it sat in the garden reading.

Ferret says:
It has been scientifically proved that last night's curry or pizza make the best breakfast. You don't even need to heat them.

Hiding out at my daughter's across town as workmen turned up an hour early this morning - yeah, really - just as well I'm organised so wasn't caught out ... stuck a pot of coffee on so they can help themselves, can't be doing with making them endless cups of tea, and left them to get on with it.

Hoping next b/h w/e will be as nice.

Oops. I don't tan, really. I'm so fair skinned it's unbelievable and if I do get sunburned it tends to wash off in the shower. Because of the breeze I didn't realise just how warm it is, and have been sat outside reading for a couple of hours. Guess who's got sunburned legs. Just at the front though, the backs still look like 2 pints of milk.

Ouch! Suze nothing worse than burning fronts of your legs, put plenty of moisturiser on to stop them tightening up. Thankfully I'm one of the lucky ones I colour up really quickly. Decided to do a bit of gardening while kindle on charge.

Tanning nicely here...so many things I can't do due to aches and pains that I have plenty of time for the sunlounger....even with factor 50 (kids suncream so hypoallergenic) and sitting under a parasol a golden bronze is emerging....

Another glorious day, and I am so lucky to be able to do whatever I like :-) I spent the afternoon reading, and realised Kindle has another great advantage over a paper book....no pages turning up because of the wind :-) It has been very windy here, but still very warm so no complaints from me :-)xx

Golf at 8.30 with 3 pals.
Couple of beers at 12.30 with the three pals.
Watched golf for a few hours when I got home.
Just read for an hour or so in glorious sunshine with a beer.
Stress!

It's been really windy here today as well. I got fed up of the parasol blowing over so I tied the pole to the chair leg then it couldn't go anywhere. Looked a little bit silly, but worked a treat.
Legs are sore, I think I'd better stay out of the sun tomorrow.
