I bought this e-book £3-79

KNITTED QUILTS & FLOUNCES (Heritage of Knitting Book 3)

On Kindle it is difficult to read a lot of the book properly purely because of the size of the screen etc.

This morning I registered my laptop for Kindle for PC and I chose this book from my Amazon Library to download to my Laptop.

The illustrations are much clearer.

Knitting instructions are still a little small, I copied a page using the old "three finger method" and opened the image off my pasteboard on to Paint Shop Pro. I then zoomed in 2-1.

The knitting was picture larger and the writing is bigger. Unfortunately if I had zoomed in closer the letters would probable have blurred.

The writing appears in blue colour but I can change the image to black and white. Save the page to my hard disc. And sit and knit the design off the screen or Print out the page.

Just though I'd let Kindle Knitters know if they download Kindle for PC (Windows 7, Vista and XP) they can see things clearer.

Other Craft type e-books also benefit also the illustrations on cookery books - AND SOME PICTURES ARE IN COLOUR.

Suze says:
Yeah, or the frill around the neck or cuffs of a jumper.

I have put how to do the three fingered method on another thread. It probably has another name. I quite often use this method to "copy" images of Ebay items so I can put them on "Paint Shop Pro" greatly enlarged to have a close look before I bid.

You sort of turn around, flicking your head and stomp off in a huff, Bri.
