Seriously, this is just making me laugh now, Moon... so thanks for that, and I guess, well, knock yourself out if replying to someone who's not reading floats your boat.

Threads go off topic - it's the nature of most forums :)

Isn't this thread meant to be about The Night Circus???

In reply to an earlier post on 17 Jul 2012 19:49:36 BDT
Hah, I'd so do that :D

I have a lot of random trivial knowledge about plants because I read widely and I tend to retain odd bits like that!

Hate to disillusion you, Moon, but you're on my ignore list. I only see your posts if I click "show post anyway" and I rarely do. I wouldn't have said anything only I guess if you've replied to my post three times you're probably trying to get under my skin, and since I'm not actually reading your posts... I imagine (or at least I hope!) that you have better things to do with your time.

tiggrie, I haven't a clue. I'm going to have to do a bit of reading about them really. I bought it because I like figs and there was a tree shouting buy me, buy me. So I did. I don't know a thing about them.

Isn't it figs where you leave the tiny ones over winter and they ripen the next year? I have a feeling they have a really long season to ripen.

Serious case of the no-voters on this thread...

Suze says:
It's only about 4 foot high at the moment. Not a clue how big it will grow to though, just hoping they aren't like leylandi

How big is it , Suze?

Suze says:
I'm hoping so, if it ever gets any sun to ripen them. It might not do much this year anyway, but hopefully next year should be good, although there are one or two reasonable size figs on there now and quite a few tiny ones.

Yeah, I remember that, Fi.

I don't know what a fig tree looks like - will it produce an edible crop?
