Good idea, Josie. I have dropbox on mine, had not thought about putting calibre there. I have been trying to copy some of my epub books to the ipad without success so far. They are bigger files than the mobi ones and tend to get overlooked with all the newer books I am downloading from Amazon. I had bought / downloaded them from other sources last year.

You cannot access Calibre, or use Calibre on an iPad. The option I use is I opened a Dropbox account, which is free for up to 2GB storage. Then I copied my Calibre library into My Dropbox account. Installed the Dropbox app on my iPad, then any books I select in my Dropbox app can be opened on the iPad.

Yeah, drm would need to be stripped first. No idea how that could done, personally. Google might help, though...

If installing Calibre looks a bit hard, you can do ePub to Mobi and many other conversions on the net.

There's an online site which will convert files for you --
http://www.convertfiles.com/

It will convert epub (or other format) files to mobi, pdf, and several other formats. No installing software.

Not if the ePub is DRM encrypted of course.

Could you tell me please, is there a way to access your Calibre library from an Ipad ?

Calibre is an excellent program. Not only converts but is a very good data base for your books. It is free but you can make a donation - totally optional. Very easy to use and lots on here have it is you would get lots of tech support from the kindlers! Hope this helps
