I did say download the dvd copy version and not the ripper.First you have to get the dvd to play, then you stop it playing and then you open the dvd copy version of dvd fab.

I doubt whether anyone is gonna be prosecuted for making a copy of the dvds/blurays they've bought, anytime soon, Chris.

A) in the UK, ripping DVDs and converting to a different format is still illegal and against the copyright you agreed to when buying the DVD.
B) Removing the Copyright protection and DRM protection is certainly illegal.

A) is being considered by the Gov't and may change "soon" (where soon is measured in Gov't time). B) will still be illegal.

Hello everybody...There is confusion aplenty about how to get dvds that you have pyrchased onto your kindle fire/hd...Well here's some useful stuff..

Try This link everybody..It's a free dvd ripper and MP4 converter all in one.

http://www.winxdvd.com/resource/free-dvd-ripper-software-for-copy-protected-dvds.htm.

If that's not for you..Go to the software website that I use...www.dvdfab.com...Download thier software on a free trial...Once the free trial as finished, you can still use it to copy your dvds to your hard drive..(That's what I use it for)..Once copied(The copying removes copy protection) you can use any converter to convert them into MP4 files.

http://www.dvdfab.com/

Please make sure you download the Dvd copy software not the dvd ripper software.

Here is the link for an excellent converter called Handbrake and it's totally free..

http://download.cnet.com/HandBrake/3000-2194_4-10808250.html

Here is another link with plenty instructions on how to convert the files....WICKED!!!
