Of course Apple would and they did.
My iPod stopped working 9 months after purchase and they replaced it with a brand new one STRAIGHT away!
When my iPad3 got damaged, only V.slight, they replaced immediately with a new one!
Also, when my sons iMac overheated 2 years ago, after only having it for 2 months Apple came all the way to our house with a Brand new one to replace it.

If you were to phone Apple and speak to the automated operator/computer you would think that you were talking to an actual human being, she's that good, that intelligent..and obviously always connects you to the correct department of your choice; unless she can answer your query herself.

We all know that Amazon has a good c.s, but so does Microsoft...and I deal with them quite often..but I don't think ANY computer can come across more intelligent than Apples and yes they have EXCELLENT c.s and After Sales Support.

Maybe you should stay away from the iPads you don't seem to have much luck with them! Or are you a iPad sadist?!?

Hi Toyah - I don't want to have a dialogue with a substitute robotic character - much prefer a humanoid as in Amazon Customer Service...

That's the thing with Apples Automated operator...she does sound human, you would have to ring Apple to believe me, it's totally and utterly amazing.
When people told me about her I wasn't convinced either, but I almost fell over with shock to how good she was.
I rang them once but I forgot to speak because I was talking to my son at the same time, but then I overheard her say ' can you Speak a little louder please, I cannot hear you'.and that was the automated system/operator.

At times it's so funny because she's so unbeliever ably human.

You will just have to phone Apple to believe.

Thank you, but no thank you :)
Toyah, I read a book this past year (Kindle) relating to something similar striving for the ultimate regarding robotic /human issues, pertinent to your above post. It was a novel not a scientific book(and it wasn't sci-fi/fantasy) I'll have a look if I still have it on my Kindle.

Think I know which one you mean. You have just reminded me, I've GOT TO go back and finish it.. I have thousands on my Kindle and I'm sure I will never be able to read half of them before I pop.

Wow! And Amazon actually replaced it???
That's incredible!!!
So "Haha" to all you iPad owners who have had their tablets perform nowhere near the temperature of a "Fire".

I had an issue with my nexus 7 and spoke to Google support. They were happy to replace. As it turned out we managed to sort the problem out.
Amazon are starting to get a lot more competition in the customer support area.

Do you knock on doors spreading the word as an Amazon Witness?

Who needs doors when you have the worldwide web?

I think the thread title could've used a couple more 'evers', though...

If you have a quick search you'll find another thread which has a veritable surfeit of punctuation. Plenty for all. They are much more robust than your evaporating version and will work at all temperatures.
