Well at least they have released the kindle fires in the uk, their going to do well on this side of the pond. Though wheres the paperwhite please release it here, they have done it again holding back cutting edge one, but giving us another normal kindle option eh?

I'm glad it's not really. There is no way I can justify a new kindle so soon after getting the touch. Just saying I want one doesn't really work at the moment.

Are you going to pre order it? Or did you want the larger 8.5" version, unfortunately not available here..

Yes, it's always the same

If Amazon follow the same release schedule as they did with the Kindle Touch Wifi/3G, then America will get the Paperwhite in Oct (as confirmed) and the UK gets them 6 months later in April. I can only assume that in light of nothing to suggest otherwise that they will follow this route again. I am a little disappointed but my Touch will see me through until next year.

Will I be keeping an eye out on all the early adopters to see how it stacks up against the google nexus.
