Introducing the All-New Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD, plus the All-New Kindle e-reader

Kindle Fire - the Kindle for movies, TV shows, music, books, magazines, apps, games, and web browsing, and the #1 bestselling product on Amazon.com for the past year-is now available in the UK with a faster processor and twice the memory of the original Kindle Fire, at a breakthrough price of only £129.

Kindle Fire HD - all-new with a stunning custom HD display - offers the fastest Wi-Fi, exclusive Dolby audio with two stereo speakers, and a high performance processor and graphics engine for the most immersive HD experience available on a lightweight, portable 7" tablet - all backed by Amazon.co.uk's vast content ecosystem, the best cross-platform interoperability and the best customer service - for £159.

Select from Amazon's vast collection of digital content with over 22 million movies, TV shows, songs, apps, games, books, and magazines.

We've also introduced a new version of the world's best-selling e-reader - the all-new Kindle -still incredibly small and lightweight, but now with faster page turns, new fonts and parental controls -and at an even lower price point of only £69.

Enjoy!
The Kindle Team

When will the new Kindle fire be available in Ireland? I'm heartily sick of being excluded from the co.uk kindle site.

Would prefer the new e-reader to be available myself. The Paperwhite...

Do you not use the Amazon.com site there?

Trollslayer says:
No 8.9" version, no sale.
Amazon - why do you do this?

In reply to an earlier post on 6 Sep 2012 21:53:15 BDT
Unfortunate, eh Tom ? , if only the Brtish had gone a bit further South.

Doesn't look like we are getting that one. I would be tempted too.

Might as well wait for the Ipad mini due to come out soon.

Well at least they have released the kindle fires in the uk, their going to do well on this side of the pond. Though wheres the paperwhite please release it here, they have done it again holding back cutting edge one, but giving us another normal kindle option eh?

Suze says:
I'm glad it's not really. There is no way I can justify a new kindle so soon after getting the touch. Just saying I want one doesn't really work at the moment.

kelp bed says:
Are you going to pre order it? Or did you want the larger 8.5" version, unfortunately not available here..

In reply to an earlier post on 6 Sep 2012 22:00:51 BDT
Yes, it's always the same

A.Alder says:
If Amazon follow the same release schedule as they did with the Kindle Touch Wifi/3G, then America will get the Paperwhite in Oct (as confirmed) and the UK gets them 6 months later in April. I can only assume that in light of nothing to suggest otherwise that they will follow this route again. I am a little disappointed but my Touch will see me through until next year.

Will I be keeping an eye out on all the early adopters to see how it stacks up against the google nexus.

To be honest. Having just got the "Touch" in April, I would find it very hard to justify too..
Still want one though...Lol..

Bye bye Nexus , bye bye.

Oh, I'm still drooling, and will keep going on about them.

Right, I'm off for a read of my book for a couple of hours. Night everybody.
