To those in Amazon who decide what way the forums are formatted please return the threads to the original state, ie with sensible navigation and history facilites. The recent changes have made the use of the various forum(fora) areas difficult and frustrating to use.
The Amazon Forum setup is a great way for Amazon to generate furthur sales, folk chat about all sorts of stuff and make recommendations for others to check out.
It is also a great place to chat in an open space. Unlike Facebook and others all are welcome to join in and drop out, there is no need to be invited or require some sort of vetting procedure. This open space does allow trolls to stir things up and flame folk, but that is more interesting and memorable(for good or bad) than a closed shop mentality that pervades and distorts other internet forum areas.
I, Smitty Werbenjaegermanjensen, am greatly dissapointed with the recent off putting changes and want to see some sort of signs of these threads being returned to their former glory.
All who agree please sign in below.
Many thanks!
