I have been a fan of this actor for quite a while, but I find he's one of them people who when you see him it's oh it's that guy but don't know his name.

I have enjoyed him in many horror films and I have noticed there have never been any posts about him, so here it is.

Discuss as you like:

The guy's amazing in "Blood for Dracula" and "Flesh for Frankenstein", he should go down in history as a horror legend for those two roles alone!

Hi Stuart, I really like Udo, though he did apear in some stinkers as well...
I liked him the best in the Paul Morrissey Flesh for Frankenstein and Blood for Dracula,
To add some of the lesser known; Love Object [DVD] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC] and Shadow Of The Vampire [2000] [DVD], you might like the latter as it relates to the silent Nosferatu that I think you said you like...
He also Directed films, but I never got to watch them.
And dare I add the not-so-good Barb Wire [DVD] [1996]

Also see if you can spot him in the Madonna clip Erotica (see it on you tube).
Don't feel silly looking at a Madonna clip but think of it as a clip made by Steven Meizel when he was at his best.
You can also see Tony Ward saddle Madonna and ride...

Ryan, think you may have him mixed up with Keir Dullea.

Mr Kier also paid for any number of sins by appearing in the shambolic morass that is Mother Of Tears [2007] [DVD].

I noticed "Blood for Dracula" and had to triple check that it was a different film from "Flesh for Frankenstein" judging by the dvd cover. Anyway if this is half as good as "Flesh for Frankenstein" then I do plan to buy it.

FLESH F... was originally shot as 3D. I think that is the 3D version, but not sure.
Blood for Dracula / Flesh For Frankenstein [2 Disc Set] (German Import)

I've read that he directed his own film where he also play a wheelchair bound transsexual.
Never seen it. Not sure if it is available.

Did anyone notice he's in the upcoming "The Editor"? It's from Astron-6 so should be good.

Just thought I'd mention he does a cameo in the recent Von Trier film "Melancholia", he's actually pretty damn funny in it and stands out even among the great cast involved, pretty bleak film but a rewarding one.
