The US netflix is a horror fans' paradise.
I've been signed up for the months free trial for a couple of weeks and so far have watched;

Black Sabbath
Audition
My name is Bruce
Human Centipede 2
Raw Meat aka Death Line
Irreversible
Son of Frankenstein
Dead Snow
Imprint
Saw IV
Crawlspace
Chillerama
Black Sun
Dead & Buried
and best of all, loads of Twilight Zones.

There must be hundreds on there but only 75 show in each category so you have to search for a specific title if it isn't listed.
I think they do rotate their catalogue as I've seen films mentioned on other forums that don't show up.

Any recommendations would be most welcome.

(Wouldn't bother with the UK netflix btw, seems to have about 5% of the content of its US counterpart).

How are you still getting access to the US site? I signed up to Netflix when it launched in Jan. I was using DNS code to get to the US site. They blocked it after a while. Like you say Lee theres a lot more on the US 1 than the UK. I'm planning on cancelling my subscription coz of how bad it is in the uk.

instantwatcher.com has lists of movies that are on the Us site.

Top man Alan. That's exactly the kind of site I've been searching for.

I've signed up to UnblockUs for approx 3.50 a month,so just under a tenner all in is still a bargain and less than I've been spending on dvds each month.
I watch on tv via the Wii and it's just a case of,as you say, changing the Wii DNS settings.I can even toggle between the UK and US versions as there are three setting slots, but it means reconnecting my Unblock account each time.I really can't believe how incredibly convenient it all is.I'm like a kid in a sweet shop at the moment.

Vampire girl versus Frankenstein girl last night! Possibly the weirdest film I've seen but I'm loving some of the Japanese stuff.

How did you sign up with unblockUs? Did you have to use your card to sign up?

For crazy Japanese madness try RoboGeisha or Machine Girl.

Machine Girl and Tokyo Gore Police are on my to watch list.

I think they only accept Paypal.I did have to enter card details despite being Paypal registered.I'm pretty sure it's all above board.

Hi lee
Just got my free trial with UnBlock Us. Its worth an extra 40 per year for all the stuff on the US site. Have you encountered any problems. Or had any hassle from Netflix for using a US account?

Tokyo Gore Police is one of the most messed up films i've seen. If you've not already seen it try 13 Assassins. Or if your just after some strange comedy try Big Man Japan. Hard Revenge Milly is supposed to be good. I've not seen it though. I think theres 2 parts to it.

Tucker and Dale vs Evil is well worth a watch. C.H.U.D is worth watching. The Burning, Deep Red, Mark of The Devil, House (the 1st one..the rest are crap)

No,I haven't heard from Netflix at all. There's a lot of Q&A info on the Unblock site about how it all works.I am half expecting Netfix to pull the plug though tbh, which is why I've gone monthly with Unblock, despite the annual subscription working out cheaper.
I did have some loading and connection problems during the weeks Unblock trial period but don't know whether it was down to Netflix,Unblock or my BT connection, but on a couple of occasions a connection check with Unblock sorted the problem.Since I've signed up & paid up with UnblockUs for nearly two weeks now, there has been no problems at all.

Thanks for the pointers,I'll give them all a watch at some point.I'm about halfway through RoboGeisha.

Hi Lee. How long did it take Unblock Us to start your subscription after you signed up? I've used my trial and signed up to the yearly subscription using Paypal. Its been nearly a week and payments are showing as pending on the Unblock Us invoice page.

Hello Alan
I was reconnected immediately after payment was made but I had funds to cover it in my Paypal account.Am I right in assuming you have to pay via Paypal or was it a direct payment to UnblockUs?
I've sold items on ebay myself where funds have been pending for a while so would guess it's a delay in processing.I'd send Unblock an email.Have UnblockUs now disconnected you, because my free trial overran a bit?

Yeah i think its paypal. . I've emailed unblockUs they say it could take a week or so coz of paypal. They said they will give me another free week (i've not tried it yet though). Dont use paypal that much so maybe i've done something wrong.
My trial ran out a day early but seeing as i got a month free when netflix started up i cant really complain. Thanks for the info.
