Definately, on Blu Ray Aus and UK are both region B all Blu Rays between the two countries are interchangeable. I'm from Aus and buy regularly from the UK.

I don't know if any replies todate have come from Australia however I do - and definitely UK and Aus are on the same region code.
I buy UK blurays which are not relesed here - they are fine.

I want to buy the region B version of A Bridge To Far (not released here) - Amazon have two sellers who unfortunately do not internationally deliver to Aus.
The American (Region A) is readily available at Amazon however is no good for me to purchase.
Does anyone have any knowledge where I can purchase the Region B and have it delivered here?

I've ordered quite a few BD's from Australia, The Descent, Donnie Brasco, Die Hard 3 and American Psycho being a few of those.

The best sites are these few below. Usually delivery is about a week after ordering.

www.dvdcrave.com

I don't know about the other posters but I do own the Blu-rays in question and I can confirm that they do work in UK Blu-ray players or PS3s.

Mr. Blu says:
Before ordering check the following: I am 90%+ sure that the "Die Hard 3" currently available has a lossy soundtrack: DTS HD High Resolution (so-called) but not DTS HD Master Audio, which is the lossless codec. The thinking (at least on the continent) is probably that most people will watch with German, French or Spanish tracks so this won't bother them. But marketing it in Australia is a bit of a cheek. There will be a UK release, wait for it, unless (a) you can check and find that I'm wrong or (b) you don't care about HD sound quality.

Mr. Blu says:
hippo: Thanks for correcting me with good news! The release available on the continent was lossy, and I was assuming the one discussed here would be the same, but hence the less than 100% :-)

Buy a Kogan Blu Ray Player for about $269 plus courier delivery in 2-3 days. Version 2.0. Solves all problems and does very good upscaling of DVD and is a very fast Blu Ray loading. I know I just got one and solved 99% of my playing dilemmas and I have A Bridge Too Far from Amazon US and it runs fine. Only South Pacific & The Robe, both from about last February release, did not work and they don't work on the drive in the computer either(LG Blu Ray burner/player). I am from Melbourne & don't work for Kogan but I have sold some machines on my recommendation to happy users who are big film collectors. The US & UK deals on Blu ray from Amazon are a great incentive to buy even if I am duplicating some DVD in my collection.
