Sorry to be the one who broke you the bad news, Uncle DJ but Big George has already said that the Blu-ray (and likely no future releases) will have the Original Theatrical Feature.

They're gone mate, I think everyone should just accept it now.

You think Jurassic Park 3 and Trinity are the best from their trilogies? What's wrong with Jurassic Park 3? Here's a few...

1) Story? Kid goes missing on an island, so they get a team of... "professionals" to go after him. Very original.
2) Didn't have the best effects, Jurassic Park is superior. Even got an an Oscar for it. What did JP3 get? Oh yeah, nominated for a Razzie Award for worst Remake/Sequel.
3) Raptors have metal band hair cuts.
4) Why is a bigass Spinosaur able to just run thorough a huge half metal half concrete fence like it's nothing, BUT isn't able to break down a small wooden door?
5) Why did Grant in his dream see a Raptor that looked absolutely NOTHING like the ONLY ones he saw, the ones in JP?
5) The Spinosaur swallows their satellite phone. The components would of been destroyed due to the animal's stomach acid all over them. They can hear it ring nice and loud when it's about 200 feet away. Then the phone STILL survives coming out the other end of the animal, covered in it's crap.
6) After the raptors get their eggs back from the people... they just leave. What? "We'll leave them in peace because they were nice enough to give our eggs back". They're vicious animals who would shread them all to bits. The raptors were made to look like sissies in JP3.

"newer the films are its obvious there just going to look better" - Oh dear. MANY people view Jurassic Park as having far better effects than a lot of films made long after it. You only have to watch a few modern films with special/visual effects to see this.

Blade Trinity. Top of my head...

1) Blade is turned into a softie. Eg; catches the baby and goes "cutchy-coo".
2) The Night Stalkers? Seriously?
3) Over kill of stupid jokes turn this into a comedy.
4) Hannibal king. Woah, such an awesome name. He manages to defeat a wrestler-sized, around 6'3" and a half super-human vampire. No way in hell.
5) Humans can also easily kill super strong vampires... while listening to music I might add.
6) Dracula morphing was totally stupid.
7) They made a weapon half as hot as the sun. Yeah, in their dreams.

You swallow anything Hollywood puts on your plate. You swallow it, don't ask questions and ask for more.

I'm so happy they didn't put too much silly jokes in there - it's a great movie!

Schmidt - lol, not sure if a lot of people got that one ;)

I am about to get a multi-region blu-ray player, so discs with region locking shouldn't be an issue for me, but I'll throw in my two cents anyway:

I want all of these with their original uncut audio and video and English subtitles if the film's original language is not English, and in their original aspect ratio and in whatever colour format they were originally (B&W, colour, sepia, etc.)

These are all animated films, as most live action ones do not offer the kind of visuals that I really care about seeing in HD (though some do, such as Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Moulin Rouge, Romeo + Juliet, The Fifth Element, The Neverending Story, The Dark Crystal)

Angel's Egg
The Cat Who Walked by Herself
One Piece Movie 6: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island
Princess Arete
The White Mare's Son (Feherlofia)

I could list many more that I want just as much, but you asked for 5.

As a huge fan of 80's films, mainly comedies I'd like to see a Richard pryor boxset for example. so I'll have a list of 10 in no particular order.
1. complete beverly hills cop trilogy - not just a cherry picked one that will sell.
2. see no evil, hear no evil, - out in the US , but we get the shaft ,as reg A only
3. my cousin vinny
4. the Burbs,
5. moving
6. Duel
7. This boy's life
8 dutch,
9. One hour photo,
10 down and out in beverly hills.
11. sea of love - out on HD DVD , no blu ray!
plus Indiana jones trilogy, although Im sure that will come out eventually. I bet most of these will never get released, yet some are out in the US and have this region lock - WHY? for 30/40 year old films?

In reply to an earlier post on 16 Apr 2012 20:58:08 BDT
Indiana Jones collection is out later this year!
