I have lot my old Sennheiser headphones and want to replace them with a similar pair. I can't remember the exact model number but know they were the MX series (earbud style rather than the type that fit into the ear canal like a rubber bung) and they had an asymmetric cable.

Does anybody know of any models (Sennheiser or any other reasonable quality brand) with both these features?

CX's are better than MX's but also dearer;

There are a lot of convincing knock-offs of Sennheisers out there so you're better buying from amazon. They're also guaranteed for two years so when they inevitably fail within that time Amazon will replace them and your receipt will be stored in your orders so no need to hang on to a piece of paper.
Link for MXs;
