Amazon Prime - What a waste of time

It's getting near to the Christmas season and the offer of free 1 month trials - I'm not going to be duped for a 3rd time. Not one item was delivered the next day - and some arrived after Christmas. They obviously can't cope either with Christmas, or with increased Prime membership during trial offers.

I'll either be ordering a lot earlier, or relying on other retailers the nearer Christmas approaches.

i thought the ''free'' trial was what it said ''free''!! ..did not think i would end up paying for it....having NEVER used it...cancelled at once and have been awarded refund ''credits''

i signed up without knowing the annual fee. while i had the 'prime' it was great for next day delivery(on selsected items) however one day i had seen 49.00 taken out of my account, i rang the amazon customer care line and they cancelled my subscription and gave me a full refund which was very helpful.

amazon prime is great if you use it. just a shame they dont advertise the fee more clearly.

Been a very satisfied Prime customer for several years and given how often I buy things it has been cost effective and better for next-day but I'll be cancelling at the next renewal. I don't need or want the streaming service they've just added and as it raises the cost to 79 it will be cheaper to pay for postage. Couldn't use it even if I wanted to - guess what you can only use iPads, Kindle Fire, Xbox and TVs - NOT an Android device in sight. Way to go Amazon - it's not a 41 saving it is a 30 price hike!!
