I saw a book a short while ago in Waterstone's whose main character was a man who was a terrific problem-solver, described as a cross between Jeeves and Sherlock Holmes. It was written relatively recently. I can't find it now. Does anyone know what it is? Thanks in advance.

It might be these Oscar Wilde Mysteries by Giles Brandreth.Oscar Wilde and the Candlelight Murders (Oscar Wilde Mysteries 1)

Paul Wimsett says:
More likely to be the Campion stories by Margaret Allingham. But the Peter Wimsey and the Mrs Bradley mysteries are rather similar.
