Parsley had carefully secured his trouser turn-ups with cycle clips, fetched his trusty Raleigh Tourer from the shed in the garden,looked at his watch, still another two hours before he must start the evening paper round, he ran his fingers through his fast receding hair line and placed his safety helmet on his head, then, crouching low over the handlebars he set off to see the one person that he felt could help him, His Grandfather, known to one and all as Old Father Thyme, his Grandfather had also been a failure in life and bore a grudge against everyone and everything except for Parsley in whom Grandfather Thyme recognised a kindred spirit, "Yes" thought Parsley, " If anyone can help me, then Grandad Thyme is that man".....
