Hi everyone. I was recently given the opportunity of writing a feature for Elite magazine, interviewing authors and aiming at bringing books to those that would generally pass them by. The magazine was the first publication I featured in as my debut novel launched, so I definitely have a soft spot for it even though it's not the sort of thing I would normally peruse, being something of a lads mag. Anyway, after some thought I decided I'd aim for the personality angle rather than literary to try and hook a page turner and get them interested in the article. My first interview is with colourful character and z-horror author Wayne Simmons.

You'll find the article at page 62 on the posted link. Let me know your thoughts, guys, about the ultimate goal of making reading more appealing to those that normally don't bother, and whether you think the personality based interview style of the article will do the trick. Sorry if this isn't the right category to post under but as fiction lovers this did seem the best place.
