this is a total long shot but I wonder if any of you might know the book I'm talking about.

I bought a book at borders in 1998 (ish) it was an american imprint and had a bright pink cover with a barbie looking girl on the front, it was about a woman who very depressed in a bar because she had just got divorced. A guy approaches her and offers her a deal if she will come and live in his castle in Transylvania for a few weeks - she goes as she feels she has nothing to lose and ends up falling for him while there.

It was very funny / light and I'm dying to read it again, unfortunately I seem to have lost it in a house move and can't for the life of me remember what it is, I know it's a long shot but do any of you recognise it?

Thank you! :)

Have you tried googling a list of Authors from around that time, see if one rings a bell ...

Why not check the Top 100 selling books from 1996, 1997, 1998?

If it was a contemporary novel, it will probably be on one of them.
