Hi Eurythymia,

I'm doing fine; football is in off season at the moment. We're just finishing up the college basketball tournies and baseball is ongoing. I don't watch much of either of those, but husband really enjoys the college basketball as his old college team is often in the running.

I'm busy as a bee in the garden! It's coming in nicely and I'm ever hopeful for lots of produce. So far we have enjoyed one radish and some snap peas. The snap pea season is nearly over here. They do not do particularly well in Texas, but I try them every year anyway.

My contract work as an editor is about the same. I'm busy enough that my own writing has slowed down, but I don't mind the break. When the summer heat hits, I'll be stuck either writing or editing anyway as it gets too hot to be out and about.

Goodness, I don't think I could handle a drama group, but it could be fun! And challenging!

So Maria
It seems such a long time since there have been any posts & I wondered how people are getting on. Things not so great for me work wise at the moment but probably the same for many people.
It looks like I will be starting up a drama group in my area of the UK for my church which is a bit of a challenge but exciting too.
How about you? How's the American football? Good season?

You too. Don't know what your religious beliefs are (if any) but I will keep you & the boys in my prayers.

Oh, it's nice to hear from you and to hear that you are doing better. I'm so glad you are through the rough patch! Where in Texas is your BIL, do you know? AT least he will be in boot camp before the terrible heat hits. It's awful here in the summer.

I don't post nearly as often myself. I've cut way back on my internetting about. I have taken on part time work and that has been good for the budget. It does cut back on everything else I'm able to do, of course!

Let me know if I can assist your BIL whilst he is in Texas.

M

NO, it has not always been "Fun" watching!

You get some sleep! You did better on defense, but I gotta say...!

Have a g'night!

It has certainly been a tough season to watch and I can't see it getting any easier. Now I have to try and get some sleep, it is almost 1am and I have work tomorrow!

You can only imagine the conversations here as well--it's not over, it's not over, you know that defense...argh, ugh, eeek!!!!

Whew. They just couldn't make it easy on us, could they!!!

Definitely Whoohoo, although far too many tense moments for my liking, so pleased for both Rodgers and Cobb, and another last second (almost) interception. In the words of the T Shirt my son has been wearing all day 'Da Bears Still Suck'!

Well then, don't miss a single moment! The Packers need you! Can you play defense? Because that is where they need the most help...

I'll take a look. Only a couple of hours to go, have got the snacks ready! It was my son's birthday yesterday so it would make a great late present. His soccer team, Chelsea won today - when they were a goal down I started watching, seems the magic worked again.

In reply to an earlier post on 29 Dec 2013 18:26:27 GMT
Woowoo! I'm glad he's back. I'm praying someone worked with the defense...and the offensive line better protect Rodgers!!! We do not need that collarbone taking any hits.

We get to see the Packers game too. I know what you mean about watching via PC. We've watched most Packer games via computer this year. Bah!

(In other news, at the blog we're selecting the next buddy read by voting on Blurbs only--no titles, no authors, no covers! Just the book description. Feel free to stop by and vote for the one that sounds most interesting to you!)

Hi Maria, hope you had a good Christmas. Feeling a bit nervous about tonight's game but with Rodgers back and Cobb activated I definitely believe they will do it, have to have faith don't you? It is being televised here which is better than watching through the PC. Colleagues at work still think I am mad but a couple of them are showing more interest in the game now I will convert them yet!

Non other than the Green Bay Packers! Happy Christmas. Actually I am not that big a sports fan, only other one I really watch now is tennis having got bored with snooker and F1.

Eurythmia, a nice 'easy' one who won the Super Bowl in Feb 2011? Additional fact - beat Pittsburgh Steelers at Cowboys Stadium.
