Les Miserables (Everyman's Library Classics)

Sorry. It's just the thickest books I could think of to suggest. It'll take a while, and while reading it you'll hardly have any time to check out whatever spammers offer

I thought Amazon had deleted posts from you for spamming previously. Oh well, here we go again.

Curse of Ancient Shadows - A swashbuckling YA adventure with plenty of mystery, monsters and magic, as well as non stop action set in a fantastical rural town on a remote part of the British coast.

Hope this helps :)

There are some great suggestions for established authors so far, so I thought I would suggest a new author. If you have ever tried David Gemmell, or Terry Brooks, you may like it
Whispers of a Storm (Book One of the Storm Trilogy) by Anthony Lavisher. It's a fantastic fantasy adventure, and as part 1 of a trilogy, there are two more (hopefully) exciting installments to come. I hope so!

The Empire trilogy by Fiest and Wurts. Absolutely great reads. I didn't like Fiest's novels ( I read the original Magician trilogy) but the Empire trilogy is great - beautifully written and awesome characters.

I'm new to Kindle and this forum.

You could take a look at my book. It chronicles the adventures of a young man who acquires near infinite power. This creates tremendous resposibility - and danger from all the evil Gods on Earth.

Thanks for looking.

The Power of the Gods

So it's science fiction OR fantasy?

I posted an answer to you on science fiction forum

Hi Ian,

I'm afraid that promoting your own book isn't permitted in the main Amazon forums. You can only do it in the MOA ("Meet Our Authors") forum.

Thanks

I would suggest Laurel K. Hamilton - The Anita Blake Books - there a mix of vampire/werewolf stories. Good fantasy books.
I would also agree with some of the earlier posts that the Hunger Games books are really good too.

OOps. Sorry.

I'm newto Kindle and all theseforums are confusing. I thought I was on the "MeetOur Authors" forum.

I'll do better next time.

I find these definitions very restrictive.

Both science fiction and fantasy can include a vast range of content and it's where science fact meets fiction that the problems start.

So, I'd say it's fiction and fantasy, with some science mixed in.

have you tried branching out??? i was in the same boat as you until i came across a series that i still read today. it's called the dark-hunter series. the first book in the series is called Night Pleasures. it is set in the real world and the present but it also has the greek pantheon and the author also puts in bits of history as well

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's done that.
I do find myself having to check, especially so so many threads have so many of the same people and you find discussions wandering through the forum

It does get confusing, and frequently I find myself scrolling to the top of the page to check which forum I'm in.

Not to worry - people who inadvertently self-promo and then accept their mistake are liked; people who whinge and argue aren't! We like you, therefore. :-)

The Curse in the Sky (The Curse Trilogy)

Try Nicola Lawson Blood Lust Heaven can Wait Or Jim Butcher Storm Front: The Dresden Files Book One (Dresden Case Files) Karen Chance Touch the Dark Dead Witch Walking (Rachel Morgan 1) by Kim Harrison. I would reccommend Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake series too but it kind of looses it's way after you'll have invested a lot of time in it.

I highly recommend Tracey Sinclair and her novel Dark Dates. It's available on the kindle for a pure bargain price and it's full of cool characters. Boys (of the supernatural variety) that you totally fancy and girls that are kick ass and cool.
