The World of Ice & Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the Game of Thrones (A Song of Fire and Ice)

This book is the history of Westeros from the point of view of various Maesters. It has just been scheduled for November. The Winds of Winter won't be out till after this, so the latter will be presumably be next year at the earliest. But the former is up for pre order now.

Thanks. Been waiting for this for a while.

I keep hearing rumours of a "World of... Malazan" book as well. Let's hope so because I need it. I've finished the main sequence and still haven't got a scooby as to what happened!

Would also love to see the Tales of Dunc and Egg novelettes bundled up into a prequel book with a matching main sequnce cover.
