has their ever been a better line in a British film than 'Infamy..'
Khyber runs it a close second though.

I don't have a favourite Carry On, but I enjoyed Cowboy when I was a lot younger, mainly because of a huge crush on Jim Dale :)

My all time favourite Carry On actor (apart from Jim) was Kenneth Connor. I adored him.

I absolutely love the first few Carry On films so for me it has to be "Carry On Nurse"

Not a typical carry on cast but 'carry on screaming' is my favourite "frying tonight!"

Carry On Up The Khyber was the best. What other film at the time would dare get away with the line "Faqir - Off!"?

Carry On Screaming is probably my second favourite, with Don't Lose Your Head third.

S. Hopwood says:
My personal favourite was Carry on Screaming. Harry H Corbett was brilliantly cast in that role, as was Jim Dale.

Personally, I liked Carry On... Dick the best. "Stand and deliver!"

"Carry On Cowboy" may be the greatest, but then there´s "Carry On Cleo", the warmth of "Carry On Cabby", the silliness of "Carry On Up the Khyber"... So many to choose from. My favourite actor is Hattie Jacques, though Joan Sims runs her a close second. The film I laughed the most watching was "Carry On Abroad". Not the best, but certainly one of the funniest.

Carry On Cleo, without a doubt. Kenneth Connor makes me laugh so hard - it's his finest hour! - and the play-offs between Sid James and Kenneth Williams are just delightfull. It's the most consistantly funny of all the Carry Ons, as far as I'm concerned. Just brilliant!

cliomuse says:
I agree - 'Khyber' is brilliant - marvellous slapstick comedy, some great lines - and the scene where the baddies are attacking the legation and the Brits are trying to keep a stiff upper lip= the best ever Carry On scene. There's a website with a page on it, cliomuse.com
