Which movie is the single worst experience you've ever seen? is jaws 3/4, or Heavens gate, any number of michael caine movies, something with seagel, or Norris?
or anything with Mariah carey, whitney, or britney?
Of course it could be what is "considered" good, that you feel is absolute garbage--for instance "The English Patient"(I don't mind it ), but if you think it's crap-say so and why...

Steve Martins blasphemous attempts at remaking the Pink Panther classics is very much the most dreadful experience that can be gleaned from a tv screen. I have never watched animal porn and I dont intend to, but I shouldnt be much surprised if it was a better experience ;S

'Dragon' directed by Leigh Scott...a truly awful movie in every way...and that's not just a personal opinion, I doubt anyone alive could say otherwise. It is utterly risible on an objective level with not so much as a single redeeming feature.

Out of curiouscity I bought 'Mega Shark Vs Giant Octopus' a few weeks ago and only got around to watching it the other day. It's as entertaining as having your eyeballs merged in red hot magma lol.....Terrible film. Still as it's probably something of a infamous cult film the studio will probably make a sequel and call it something like 'Mega Shark Vs Giant Octopus Vs Stingray'.

Dogville - Nicole 'Smiler' Kidman, constant narration, set represented by chalk lines - what's not to hate?
You, Me & Dupree - walked out of this as I couldn't stand Kate Hudson's constant giggle!
The Village - rubbish drama directed by Ron Howard, who cast his daughter in a principal role.

In reply to an earlier post on 26 May 2011 17:37:23 BDT
While I agree that the village was not a great film, it was written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, not Ron Howard. Can't comment on the nepotism though.

I thought most of those posted were okay actually, or at least watchable. Go check out a film called "Timelock", now that really is so bad I actually threw it out. Something I never do and I watch some of the crappiest sci-fi available!

did anyone see nicholas cage in the wicker man or am I the only idiot......soooooooo bad

Posted on 27 May 2011 21:46:57 BDT
I watched this on Sky only because I heard that it was really bad so curiosity got the better of me....
Mariah Carey in 'Glitter'.....I am laughing now even as I think about it....
bad films fall into 2 categories -
Crap - so bad that you just can watch
and
craptastic - bad but there is a morbid fascination about how bad they are that holds you spellbound.....Glitter is one of these....so so so terrible that it's funny.

Well, I won't say 'watch it' or 'don't watch it'. That's up to you folks!
I say that even the worst film ever can be a good option when it's raining outside and you have no mates around for having fun :-) but two films I've seen lately that I don't like have been:

"The Day The Earth Stood Still" (the new one; what a crap!),
"Skyline" (seen on cinema and one definitely to avoid, even on future TV screenings),

I'm still deciding what to think about "Alien 3" and "Alien Resurrection". I didn't watch them before and I'm still decoding, for I'm not sure what they are!

Has anyone said "Joe V'S The Volcano" yet. I mean seriously Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks are in it and even they couldn't do anything to save me from wanting to stick my head in a popcorn bucket and drown in the butter.

'Airline Disaster'. Little known movie often shown on the SYFY channel about a bunch of terrorists taking over a plane just as the pilot's family are being kidnapped by their accomplices on ground level. Terrible overacting in places and special effects that look like they've come from the original 'Doom' video game. Avoid.

Titanic 2. SYFY channel film. Again little known film about a cruise liner that sets sail on it's maiden voyage on the 100th annerivsary of the Titanic disaster. However a tusnami causes an Iceberg to hit the ship. You'll be getting boxes of tissues if you see this because the story is a complete modernised rip-off of James Cameron's 'Titanic' but done with the experience of a 17 year old. This film is so bad it's like watching endless episodes of Eastenders.

Without a doubt, the three movies that appalled me the most have been Titanic, Eyes Wide Shut and Moulin Rouge. Titanic because of the preposterous plot, hammy acting and totally unrealistic love story all getting in the way of a great, real life story. Eyes Wide Shut is the only movie that has driven me to shout at the screen in anger (yes, in the movie theater). Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman as wooden as can be and with NO chemistry at all, ridiculous imagery (particularly the mansion sex orgy) and what a shame it was from Kubrick. He must have been totally senile by this point...
Moulin Rouge? I was embarrassed to even be sitting there watching it surrounded by weeping grown up gay men. Jim Broadbent singing Like a Virgin was possibly the most excruciating movie moment ever for me...

S. L, Well there are quite a few in my opinion, but apart from those dreadful '80's movies, Police Accademy etc 'starring' the likes of Chevvy Chase and the fat guy who died, John...?, what I really hate, almost more than anything else, is when a re-make is made of one of my favourite films and has completely hashed it up! A prime example of this is the remake of The Flight of The Phoenix 'starring' the awful Dennis Quaid. Others are the far-short-of-the-mark re-makes of The 39 Steps. But another awful film, this time not a re-make, would be The Wind Talkers, which was about Navaho Indians being used as code talkers by the United States Marine Corp against the Japanese in WWII. I wasn't familiar with the Director John Woo at the time of watching it and so didn't know that his style was all crash, bang whallop with little to no decent story telling involved! Also, I was never a fan of Nicholas Cage (and I'm still not!) but thought I'd give it a go. Well what a disaster that turned out! A complete load of trash!
