Mine would have to be Vivien Leigh, when I seen her in that red dress omg she was stunning, I named my daughter Vivien after her and also my late Nana, Gene Tierney is a 2nd.
Male would have to be James Stewart, I think his voice was just unique and sexy, then 2nd which is more modern is Johnny depp.

Ms. K. Parry says:
Male- Cary Grant. Even later in his life he was still so handsome. Female- Merle Oberon. A classic beauty.

Sophia Loren; from the slums of Naples she sexed her way to the top with a frission
Alexandre Bastedo; sixties innocence and fragility wrapped in European luxury
Brigitte Bardot; the idealised feminine 50/60's form encased in a renaissance woman who later became a vtriolic recluse

Marlon Brando; overweight polish angst living in the smouldering brutality of youth

I was pleasantly surprised to read a national newspaper film critic who recently agreed with my own choice of the scene in It's A Wonderful Life [DVD] [1946] when Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reid are sharing an old-fashioned two-piece telephone handset. I can think of no other film in which two people actually appear to fall in love before your very eyes. It is very chaste by any standards but no less exhilarating for it. My feeling is that you are drawn to them as much by empathy as lust. I would have imagined that many female filmgoers would just love it.

Cary Grant - I have to second this he was magnetic to watch!

Audrey Hepburn - I can look at her all day - absolutely gorgeous - and the camera adored her.

Gregory Peck. However, I would also agree with James Stewart and Cary Grant.
However, I used to think Roger Moore was very sexy.

This would have to be Steve McQueen!!!
Coming a close second, especially in Meet Joe Black - Brad Pitt!! I swooned all through that film:-)

Female? Mmm, the lady that springs to mind is Sophia Loren. Oozing sexuality!

I have seen my favourites in one movie lately
Alice Braga and Jude Law

Maybe I am too young for naming women from earlier days of cinema :) When i was young I was hopelessly in love with Rachel Ward.
As a man i would pick Sean Connery, I think he was really sexy.

That would have been "Repo man" I hated the movie but Jude Law was in it. Sorry I cant remember Alice Brage, maybe I'm too old. I'm not going to watch it again, but will keep an eye open for Braga in the future.
