Bonekickers, Demons and Strange are the ones that come to mind first. Oh and there's one about the paranormal, I can't remember the name of it, that was set in a Scottish University.

Ms J. Warner says:
The series you were thinking of is Sea of Souls -starring Bill Paterson - see following link.

Another interesting series that ended far too soon was Afterlife with Andrew Lincoln and Lesley Sharp -

Oh, I almost forgot..... if you like series about things that go bump in the night - try Apparitions starring Martin Shaw - another series that ended far too soon and which is currently available on Amazon at a very good price -

Apparitions [DVD] [2008]

Sea of Souls needs a re-release as a box set - but the Afterlife boxset is available at a good price.

Afterlife: Series One & Two [DVD]

The West Wing..... I know it had to end because Martin Sheen did his 2 terms as President but I just wanted it to go on forever.

West Wing was certainly brilliant but couldn't go on for ever. I heard this morning that there's a new Aaron Sorkin drama starting on HBO set in a newsroom - let's hope it's as good. Something to look forward to.
