Who is the most beautiful female in movies?
My opinion: many years ago it was Ava Gardner; these days it has to be Penelope Cruz.

J. Turner says:
Agreed on Ava Gardner but there were so many from that era. Nowadays: Monica Bellucci.

Does a female opinion count? :)

The younger version of Claudia Cardinale

England: For me it has to be Keeley Hawes
Italy: It's impossible to make Monica Bellucci look bad.
My all-time favorite was an Austrian: Maria Schell

Grace Kelly & Catherine Deneuve. Those two caused a lifetime addiction to blondes for me.

I'd say it's between Gemma Arterton, Paz Vega, Salma Heyak, Halle Berry, and Police Story 3 era Michelle Yeoh.

Jacqueline Bissett in anything
or Claudia Cardinale in ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST.

ELIZABETH TAYLOR as the breathless young horsewoman in NATIONAL VELVET--so lovely, sincere and natural--or saying just, "Wow!" in A PLACE IN THE SUN.
That's the "Eureka! Moment" in American films...

Or is it, "ZOW-EE!" with Marilyn in SOME LIKE IT HOT ?

It has to be Maggie Kirkpatrick, as Joan 'The Freak' Ferguson.

I'd never heard of her before (not surprisingly since I'm not wild on musicals and it looks like she's mostly done Bollywood) but she is a real looker yes.

Ken O'Neill says:
Ever seen "Gia"? {sexist joke}Which IIRC she got a 3rd Golden Globe for, to add to the pair that she brought to the awards cermony.{/sexist joke}

Seriously, I'd say that she's "hugely sexy" rather than beautiful.
