I work for a living, I pay tax.
I have a bank account, I pay tax.
I buy from a retailer, I pay tax.

Come on Amazon help out your customers and pay your share, then we may have a little more disposable income to spend with you!!!

Big multinationals maximising profits by avoiding tax = lost jobs and social misery for ordinary families. Immoral. Also, why has Amazon removed the many comments on this issue from legitimate customers?

Because they run the site and they can do! The only way to make them pay up is to stop shopping here and hit them where it hurts most, but most people are too apathetic to do that.

Pay your share of UK taxes but use your power to lobby government to make taxes fairer across the board and to stop supporting despot regimes and benefit cheats.

Clean your act up and pay the UK corporation tax, we are fed up of being treated like a piggy bank by foriegners who take advantage of our openess and ease of access without the restrictive practices of some countries. You will be killing the golden goose if you continue like this!

I'm sure everyone is "fed up" by these large companies evading tax, but I'm sure the same people aren't fed up with getting consistently cheaper prices on millions of items...

If Amazon pays tax, they will simply pass it on to you some way or another. So go to John Lewis if you so wish. You'll be back...
