J. Knott says:
It seems like many of us have had bad experiences with Yodel/ HDNL. So why not sign the petition here:

Just got home and found my parcel thrown over the fence into the garden. Not impressed at all.

If you haven't already, I suggest you promote this epetition on the existing threads 'add a post here to stop Amazon using Yodel' (over 400 posts) and 'how do we petition Amazon to scrap Home Delivery Network?' (nearly 3000!). Get all of them to sign it and maybe Amazon will take some notice!!

Mr. L. Duffy says:
Amazon wont listen. They will use the cheapest option for delivery. They sell so much stuff that a few lost customers won't matter. And if they save a few pound on every parcel, they will save thousands of pound a week, and so will be well able to afford a few replacements if parcels go missing. No matter what courier is used there will be problems. And people don't need much of an excuse to cry about it on the internet. So what if you had to wait an extra day or two to get something. If you care about service so much visit your local shops and don't buy off Amazon.

As an extremely loyal customer to Amazon for around ten years I am seriously considering shopping elsewhere from now on - really had enough of Yodel/HDN and I know a LOT of my friends and family are of the same opinion. They must be an extremely cheap option for Amazon but they are truly incompetent and I refuse to deal with them any more.

Amazon - continue to use these unbelieveably poor companies at your peril

Sundance Kid says:
We pay for a service. If delivery is promised for a date and does not arrive. that is not a service. Of course they are a big company and may not care about a few lost customers. But nothing will ever get solved with an attitude like yours. If everyone just held up there hands and said there is nothing we can do as we are too few and they are to many. If one person complains more will complain and create a snowball effect. In time this would surely damage them. We dont need weasals like you. Crawl back in your hole and let everyone else who is frustrated with this shoddy service be known.

I ordered my christmas jumper on the 18th so that it would come in time for christmas and now amazon is telling me it's going to come between the 31st and the 6th, whereas before this 'break-down' they said the latest it would come was the 27th.
So, get rid of Yodel. Now.

I can not believe Amazon use Yodel, its not just that they are always late or do not turn up at all, they are rude, we had a parcel delivered and the Yodel courier could not carry the parcel to the door properly as he was to busy trying to smoke, the parcel was stinking and my Wife was holding our newborn baby and he was still smoking. There are so many better companies out there to use so come on Amazon you are proving to be a fantastic company with great customer service so do not ruin it all using this bunch of cowboys.

A few weeks ago I was eating my dinner and a Yodel delivery man knocked on my window very hard, which could have broken my window as it is a large old single pane. Not only was this rude, but we had to tell him not to do it again so that he would apologise.

I have numerous problems with Yodel deliveries. Their website says they can deliver until nine pm - that's potentially fourteen hours you have to wait in for them! I have rearranged delivery times and they have never turned up and have never left a card ( even though if you get through to them they claim to have done so). On other occasions parcels have been left on the wall or thrown over the wall.

Swiss T says:
Yodel are the worst courier company I have enver encountered. Parcels end up "out for delivery" for days on end with no attempt made to deliver it. We will always opt for the cheaper delivery now so that it comes by Royal Mail. Amazon are losing money and custom as I will always buy from a shop now if I need it at short notice as I know Yodel will screw it up!

D. Glover says:
Yodel claimed to have attempted to have delivered a parcel on two days but said no one was in. Not true as someone was in on both days. No card through door. 5 days after arriving at their local depot I had to collect it. I think that is what they wanted all the time. Sign the petition for Amazon to drop Yodel.

REP says:
Yodel were absolutely useless. Amazon please drop them. Despite several phone calls they insisted they could not get to my property (a normal house) and then claimed they came twice (both days when I was in) but could not deliver - no card left though! So they are not only inefficient but also lie to try to redeem themselves. Never ever had any problems with amazon deliveries in the past.

Absolutely disgusted with Yodel's service. I ordered my gift at the end of November, tracked it for a while, it went off the radar. I gave it some time as the delivery dates were more or less any day in the whole of December! But eventually I decided to look into it as it was not a cheap item! Having spoken to 3 incompetent Yodel operators and been told twice I would be rung back on specific days and not once was, it turned out there was an attempted delivery but no card was left. Twice apparently! And now Yodel are saying the package has been signed for by my name! I have received absolutely nothing. After all this hassle and the first operator telling me we could take it to investigation, it took me 5 days and 2 more operators to tell me I couldn't do it and it had to be the seller who initiates the investigation. I rang Amazon to discuss it with them and the service was completely different - he actually wanted to help me and it just put emphasis on how poor Yodel are. Get rid of them.

Mr. M. Owens says:
If you had to deliver for 40p a drop you couldent care either this a price set by Amazon, the cheap skates-yodel employee, most drops are 70p or more to deliver but it seems Amazon are obviously not making enough millions as it is and prefer to set low drop off rates, its not just us Royal mail and fed ex are just the same.

redmohican says:
At the end of the day, the price paid by companies to Yodel is irrelevant to us, the customers who pay for the items. If Yodel have a problem with their pricing contracts let them sort it. It is the customers who are the real victims here

BOSS says:
Recently ordered from Amazon, tracked parcel, listed as out for delivery, did not turn up.The following day parcel arrived, questioned the driver [who obviously had an attitude problem] about the failed delivery the previous day,he said the driver could not find the address.Asking the question "Do YODEL use sat-nav" he replied it doesn't always work out here in the sticks. I use sat-nav regularly from this my home location without any problems.Come on AMAZON find a carrier to match your first-class business reputation

Had to cancel a delivery last week - ordered on the Monday, with next day delivery via Yodel. Parcel arrived in local depot on the Tuesday - phone on the weds to ask why it was still in the depot to be told it would definitely be delivered the next day; had same conversation again of the Thursday and Friday when I was told they couldn't tell me when it would be delivered! So much for next day...

M. Worsdell says:
Had a parcel delivered just prior to Xmas. Rather than knock on the door the driver dropped the parcel by my shed and then pushed a card through door. I was astounded, surely it was easier to call, I suspect they are instructed not to call for some reason.

ohhh. don't want even to start...., they are just useless cants. ordered christmas present on 6th of december, seller have dispatched them on 9 of december. today i still haven't received any goods. obviously ended up with a huge dissapointment as i was fustrated to buy presents on the christmas eve. what a twats...

Someone at the depot actually stole my Sony TV. This was to my advantage actually as Amazon upgraded the TV at no extra cost. Not good for staff morale to have thiefs amongst the staff.
